Custom Engagement Rings Rangiora
Looking for an engagement ring that is truly yours? At Forever Jewellers in Rangiora, every custom ring is designed and made in our own workshop by Marius van der Bank, a trade-certified jeweller, gem setter and CAD designer. We're a trade-certified Rangiora jeweller who designs and makes every piece in our own workshop, serving Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Woodend, Pegasus, Ohoka, Amberley and the wider Waimakariri area.
How it works
1. Free in-person consult
Book a free 30-minute consultation at our workshop at 27 Hotere Street, Rangiora. We'll talk through your ideas, budget, ring size, metal and stone options. Bring photos, sketches or a family piece you'd like to reuse or incorporate.
2. CAD design and render
Marius designs your ring in CAD and sends you a realistic render, so you can see exactly how it will look before anything is made. We fine-tune the design until you're happy, and we can make a resin 3D-printed sample for you to try on and check the fit.
Prefer it made by hand?
Marius learned the trade from his father, André, who made all his jewellery by hand. Most rings today are designed in CAD and cast, which is quicker and wastes less metal. Making a ring the traditional way takes more time and labour, so it costs more, but it is a truly rewarding process. At your consult, Marius will talk you through which method gives the best result and price for your design, and he is happy to make your ring by hand if you prefer.
3. Made and set in our workshop
Your ring is cast by a specialist casting house in the North Island, then hand finished and hand set in our Rangiora workshop. Every stone is set by Marius himself, a trade-certified gem setter.
4. Collection or delivery
Collect your ring from the workshop, or choose free local delivery within 12 km of Rangiora.
Turnaround and deposit
- Made-to-order work usually takes 5 to 10 business days once the design is approved.
- A 50% deposit is required to start custom work, with the balance due on completion.
Every ring is quoted individually after your consult, based on the metal, stones, design and work involved.
